Well, friends, today is a big day. In fact, it’s a big few days. I’m heading off to Georgia’s Jekyll Island to take part in the Southern Coterie’s first-ever Southern C Summit. I’ve been looking forward to this event for weeks.
For three days — May 1st through May 3rd — I, along with other bloggers, writers, entrepreneurs, and creatives, will be sharing stories and networking, while also getting a chance to hobnob with (and learn from) those more established in the field, like K. Cooper Ray of Social Primer; writer, editor and stylist extraordinaire, Amy Flurry; and Haskell Harris, whom I’ve followed since her Garden & Gun days.
There promises to be lots of fun stuff — like cocktails, tours, and delicious low country food — plus, the opportunity to meet interesting people doing interesting things. Just as importantly for me, though, there will also be talks on PR, branding, and revenue generating. A girl can’t live on dreams alone!
I’ll be sure to report back on whatever I discover. And if any of you will be there, let me know!
Cheers!
Nicole
